MEN ARE CALLING FOR ANOTHER AUTHORITY

Not having the indwelling Holy Ghost nor seeking for Him, the church settles for another authority and power. In the days of Moses, as he was in the mount with God, rebellious, impatient men desired another authority, Aaron the man, and the golden calf he made of Egyptian gold to worship. In the days of the prophet Samuel, Israel rejected God as their King and demanded the authority of a man named Saul to be their king. In the days that Jesus, in human flesh, was on Earth among men, zealous religious leaders had added men’s laws to God’s laws, changing the authority of the High Priest to that of the man, Caiaphas, even him who demanded Jesus’ death. So it is today; man contents himself with self-righteousness, rejecting God’s Authority in favor of man-made authorities that can be controlled, resulting in faithlessness.

In this absence of Faith, man rejects God’s Holy Bible in favor of a man-written version that particularly appeals to the fleshly spirit of man, a dead thing bringing spiritual death. One religion rejecting the Holy Bible, fosters a Pope as its leader and adopts the Apocrypha as an inspired Word of God. Another falls away and allows as their head, Bishops who ordain practicing homosexuals to Pastor God‘s flock. Another’s authority is their “Watchtower“, teaching that Jesus is not equal to God, and still another adopts their “Lifeway” as their authority, rejecting God’s Holy Bible as the authority over the Church, and abandoning the call to “Go Ye Therefore ....” a sin of disobedience that in the same manner deceived ten of the twelve men sent to spy out the Promised Land, choosing the “safe” and easiest solution for the moment, again resulting in faithlessness.

As the True, Holy Inspired Scriptures are replaced by man-influenced versions used by the publishers for the youth’s Sunday School teaching Program, division is created which distorts the Faith and inspires worldly music, thereby separating the youth from the elder saints, even to the point that the youth and their leaders will not be a part of church worship unless they can have things their way with their authority.

Following the downward spiraling avenue of division, some churches have now fallen prey to splits and separations, to the delight of the Devil. With a lack of Faith to follow God’s True Word and without the Holy Ghost, church members are led to form man-made programs with their committees. In this spirit, he or she rejects God’s True Word in favor of a man-written bible or book that their fleshly spirit agrees with and that agrees with other worldly religions, rejecting the authority of God.

Once all of these authorities are in place, the setting is prepared for all of them to come together under the umbrella of one religious power, a man-made religion whose hidden authority will be linked to the evil, worldly authority of Satan.

Each of these man-made authorities started with the rejection of God’s Spirit and God’s True Word. As the world slips down the path of this new man-made religious system, man rebels against the True Holy Word of God. It is too rigid for the man of flesh, and he or she calls those advocating a return to the Holy Bible as evil and self centered. There are only two paths, the True Path Built upon God’s Holy Word and the false path built upon part truths and part lies of the enemy, the same tactic that Satan used in the Garden of Eden to bring the sentence of death to the world.

As the man-made church continues to lose more and more influence over the world and with the congregations continuing to shrink and split, man refuses to repent and turn back to the Spirit of Truth who guided the Church of our Lord for two thousand years. In light of these divisive forces, man continues to follow his authority of man-written programs, leaving the true course of the Word of God saying, “we can’t go back, we can’t go back”, and now like a locomotive at full speed, he continues to crash deeper and deeper into the forest of death and destruction. We who believe God’s Word, watch in horror as it gets darker and darker into New Age religions; we call to him, but still he refuses to repent, now no longer seeing the Light he once had.

What is the solution?

“Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.” (Deuteronomy 32:7)

“But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:” (Deuteronomy 28:15

“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:” (Isaiah 46:9-10)

“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.” (Jeremiah 6:16-17)

“But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” (Matthew 15:9-14)

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” (Acts 2:38; 3:19)

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.” (2 Corinthians 7:10)

“In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;” (2 Timothy 2:25)

“Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. …. Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. …. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” (Revelation 2:5,16; 3:19)
