- [2] And he
said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he
shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of
saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
- [3] Yea, he
loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat
down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.
- [9] He will
keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in
darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
- [41] Now
therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark
of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation,
and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.
- [1] Call now,
if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints
wilt thou turn?
- [15] Behold,
he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean
in his sight.
- [3] But to
the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom
is all my delight.
- [4] Sing unto
the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance
of his holiness.
- [23] O love
the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the
faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
- [9] O fear
the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear
him.
- [28] For the
LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are
preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
- [5] Gather my
saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by
sacrifice.
- [9] I will
praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy
name; for it is good before thy saints.
- [2] The dead
bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the
heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.
- [8] I will
hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his
people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
- [5] And the
heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the
congregation of the saints.
- [7] God is
greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had
in reverence of all them that are about him.
- [10] Ye that
love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints;
he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
- [16] They
envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.
- [15] Precious
in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
- [9] Let thy
priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout
for joy.
- [16] I will
also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall
shout aloud for joy.
- [10] All thy
works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.
- [14] He also
exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints;
even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the
LORD.
- [1] Praise ye
the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the
congregation of saints.
- [5] Let the
saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
- [9] To
execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his
saints. Praise ye the LORD.
- [8] He
keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
- [18] But the
saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the
kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
- [21] I
beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed
against them;
- [22] Until
the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of
the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the
kingdom.
- [25] And he
shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the
saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and
they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the
dividing of time.
- [27] And the
kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole
heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most
High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall
serve and obey him.
- [13] Then I
heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that
certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision
concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to
give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
- [12] Ephraim
compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but
Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.
- [5] And ye
shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the
mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled
from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the
LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
- [52] And the
graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept
arose,
- [13] Then
Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil
he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
- [32] And it
came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also
to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.
- [41] And he
gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints
and widows, presented her alive.
- [10] Which
thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut
up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when
they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.
- [7] To all
that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to
you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- [27] And he
that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit,
because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the
will of God.
- [13]
Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
- [25] But now
I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.
- [26] For it
hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution
for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.
- [31] That I
may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my
service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
- [2] That ye
receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist
her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a
succourer of many, and of myself also.
- [15] Salute
Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the
saints which are with them.
- [2] Unto the
church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ
Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call
upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
- [1] Dare any
of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust,
and not before the saints?
- [2] Do ye not
know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world
shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
- [33] For God
is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the
saints.
- [1] Now
concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order
to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
- [15] I beseech
you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the
firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the
ministry of the saints,)
- [1] Paul, an
apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints
which are in all Achaia:
- [4] Praying
us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us
the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
- [1] For as
touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me
to write to you:
- [12] For the
administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the
saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
- [13] All the
saints salute you.
- [1] Paul, an
apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which
are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
- [15]
Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and
love unto all the saints,
- [18] The eyes
of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the
hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance
in the saints,
- [19] Now
therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens
with the saints, and of the household of God;
- [8] Unto me,
who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given,
that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of
Christ;
- [18] May be
able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and
length, and depth, and height;
- [12] For the
perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the
edifying of the body of Christ:
- [3] But
fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once
named among you, as becometh saints;
- [18] Praying
always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching
thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
- [1] Paul and
Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in
Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
- [21] Salute
every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet
you.
- [22] All the
saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.
- [2] To the
saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace
be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- [4] Since we
heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to
all the saints,
- [12] Giving
thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the
inheritance of the saints in light:
- [26] Even the
mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is
made manifest to his saints:
- [13] To the
end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even
our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his
saints.
- [10] When he
shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in
all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in
that day.
- [10] Well
reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have
lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she
have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good
work.
- [5] Hearing
of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward
all saints;
- [7] For we
have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the
saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
- [10] For God
is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have
shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints,
and do minister.
- [24] Salute
all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of
Italy salute you.
- [3] Beloved,
when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it
was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should
earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the
saints.
- [14] And
Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold,
the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
- [8] And when
he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell
down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials
full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
- [3] And
another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and
there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the
prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the
throne.
- [4] And the
smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints,
ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
- [18] And the
nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead,
that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy
servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy
name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the
earth.
- [7] And it
was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome
them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
- [10] He that
leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the
sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith
of the saints.
- [12] Here is
the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the
commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
- [3] And they
sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb,
saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and
true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
- [6] For they
have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given
them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
- [6] And I saw
the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the
blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great
admiration.
- [24] And in
her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all
that were slain upon the earth.
- [8] And to
her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and
white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
- [9] And they
went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the
saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out
of heaven, and devoured them.
|
|
- [13] But the
men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.
- [38] The
censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make
them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them
before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign
unto the children of Israel.
- [18] And the
LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the
sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be
consumed.
- [1] Blessed
is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth
in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
- [5] Therefore
the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the
congregation of the righteous.
- [8] Good and
upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
- [9] Gather
not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
- [13] Then
will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be
converted unto thee.
- [35] Let the
sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more.
Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
- [10] My son,
if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
- [31] Behold,
the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked
and the sinner.
- [6]
Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness
overthroweth the sinner.
- [21] Evil
pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.
- [22] A good
man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of
the sinner is laid up for the just.
- [17] Let not
thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all
the day long.
- [26] For God
giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and
joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap
up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity
and vexation of spirit.
- [26] And I
find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets,
and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but
the sinner shall be taken by her.
- [12] Though a
sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet
surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear
before him:
- [2] All
things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to
the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him
that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is
the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.
- [18] Wisdom
is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much
good.
- [28] And the
destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be
together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.
- [9] Behold,
the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to
lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof
out of it.
- [14] The
sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the
hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among
us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
- [20] There
shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not
filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the
sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
- [10] All the
sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil
shall not overtake nor prevent us.
- [31] For we and
our fathers do languish of such diseases: but because of us sinners
thou shalt be called merciful.
- [22] My right
hand shall not spare the sinners, and my sword shall not cease
over them that shed innocent blood upon the earth.
- [23] The fire
is gone forth from his wrath, and hath consumed the foundations of the
earth, and the sinners, like the straw that is kindled.
- [53] Let not
the sinner say that he hath not sinned: for God shall burn coals
of fire upon his head, which saith before the Lord God and his glory, I
have not sinned.
- [10] And it
came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans
and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
- [11] And when
the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your
Master with publicans and sinners?
- [13] But go
ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice:
for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to
repentance.
- [19] The Son
of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous,
and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom
is justified of her children.
- [45] Then
cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take
your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed
into the hands of sinners.
- [15] And it
came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans
and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for
there were many, and they followed him.
- [16] And when
the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners,
they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with
publicans and sinners?
- [17] When
Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of
the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous,
but sinners to repentance.
- [41] And he
cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your
rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed
into the hands of sinners.
- [30] But
their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why
do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
- [32] I came
not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- [32] For if
ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also
love those that love them.
- [33] And if
ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for
sinners also do even the same.
- [34] And if
ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for
sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
- [34] The Son
of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man,
and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!
- [37] And,
behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew
that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box
of ointment,
- [39] Now when
the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself,
saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what
manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
- [2] And Jesus
answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were
sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
- [4] Or those
eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye
that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
- [1] Then drew
near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
- [2] And the
Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners,
and eateth with them.
- [7] I say
unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner
that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need
no repentance.
- [10]
Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of
God over one sinner that repenteth.
- [13] And the
publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto
heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a
sinner.
- [7] And when
they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest
with a man that is a sinner.
- [16]
Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he
keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a
sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
- [24] Then
again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God
the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
- [25] He
answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one
thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.
- [31] Now we
know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper
of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
- [7] For if
the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why
yet am I also judged as a sinner?
- [8] But God
commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
- [19] For as
by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the
obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
- [15] We who
are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
- [17] But if,
while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found
sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
- [9] Knowing
this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless
and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and
profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for
manslayers,
- [15] This is
a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came
into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
- [26] For such
an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate
from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
- [3] For
consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against
himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
- [8] Draw nigh
to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners;
and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
- [20] Let him
know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his
way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
- [18] And if
the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner
appear?
- [15] To
execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among
them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and
of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken
against him.
