Isn’t God a God of love? He wouldn’t send a good person like me to Hell. I believe in God and Jesus and I do many good things for God. That should be enough to get me to Heaven.
The Truth
God is a God of love. That is why Jesus was sent here to be crucified for our sins. If His death on the cross was not needed, then Jesus died on the cross for nothing, His disciples died for a lie and God made a big mistake to send His only begotten Son to be sacrificed. Now why would Jesus, His disciples or anyone else knowingly die for a lie? |

Man is a sinner
by nature and by choice. The blood of man is poisoned by the sin of Adam and
Eve. Adam and Eve had been given a free choice and as you may know, they chose
sin. The fulfillment of sin results in death and eternal damnation in
Hell. Heaven is a Holy and perfect place without sin or sorrow. Sin can not be
allowed into the presence of a Holy God, therefore if you have ever sinned and
have not received Christ in repentance as your Lord and Saviour, then you are
unclean and are not worthy of Heaven. Jesus Christ is God. There was no sin
found in Jesus, therefore His blood sacrifice was pure and without blemish.
The blood of Jesus was sacrificed on the cross so that your personal sins could
be forgiven. By accepting Jesus as your Saviour, your sins can be forgiven,
whereby God chooses to no longer remember your sins. The only way you can be
made worthy of Heaven is to accept the perfect sinless blood of Jesus. If you
refuse Jesus, you are refusing life, just as Adam and Eve did. God loves you, but
Satan the devil, the first liar and a murderer, persuades you to reject Christ
each day until your death and hopelessness. Without the salvation of Christ,
your soul will live on to experience permanent, everlasting torment and
damnation in Hell, a place that God prepared for Satan and demons, the fallen
Angels. If you have not received Christ in repentance, then you are lost and
dead in your sins and trespasses against God.
Our good works will never pay for any of our sin. The reliance upon of our works for salvation will result in everlasting damnation. Only the perfect blood of Jesus Christ can forgive your sins.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)
